I would like to address some ongoing challenges at Riverside Chocolate Factory. Unfortunately, due to financial mismanagement by my sister and her family, the business has encountered significant instability. Currently, there is pending litigation regarding this matter.
It’s important to understand that there are always two sides to every story. I kindly ask that you reserve judgment until all the facts have been shared. Over the years, my elderly parents have been taken advantage of, and I’ve returned to McHenry to help them regain control of the business they founded 38 years ago.
My sister’s actions have severely impacted our finances, including draining our bank accounts and failing to pay rent for the building and land for the past four months. Despite these challenges, we are committed to rebuilding and appreciate the support of our community.
I will be in town until Thanksgiving, working to restore stability, and we are grateful for your continued patronage. As a token of appreciation, please mention this post to receive 10% off any order of $35 or less.
